Financial adviser business sentiment remains high as the sector shows resilience despite a turbulent year, research by the lang cat has suggested.

The firm's third annual State of the Adviser Nation report, published on Wednesday (16 December), surveyed 565 advisers throughout September and October.  It found that despite the challenges and pitfalls Covid-19 caused, more than half (59%) of respondents said their businesses were in decent shape and they were looking forward to the future. The lang cat also asked participants how they felt about their firm in the context of 2020 to gauge a "gut feeling".
