SL Aberdeen's advice arm 1825 unveils new leadership team

Standard Life Aberdeen's financial advice business 1825 has made changes to its leadership team that will see joint-leaders take charge of its financial planning and advice teams.

The leadership restructure means Colin Dyer, who was previously head of private client management, will lead the advice and planning teams alongside Neil Messenger. In 2019 Messenger joined the firm as part of the acquisition of Grant Thornton.  Functions at 1825, including paraplanning, client administration and technology services will now report into Karen Clews as part of the restructure.  1825 CEO Julie Scott said: "In just five years, 1825 has already become one of the top advice firms in the UK.
