CISI appoints four new board members

The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has made three new appointments to its board of directors and appointed one new independent non-executive director.

The new members include Jane Valls, Robert Hughes-Penney, Graham Nicoll and Charles Ferry. The CISI board is comprised of non-executive directors who are typically employed in senior positions in firms operating in the financial services sector. They meet five times a year.  Valls, the board's new independent non-executive director, has over 16 years of international experience in corporate governance and working with boards of directors.
