Two-thirds (65%) of clients have said market volatility did not prompt them to alter their attitude to risk, according to research conducted by financial advice firm Fairstone.

The Fairstone Annual Client Survey, which polled more than 1,000 of Fairstone clients, conducted research on attitude to risk, the importance of ethical investing and why clients choose to take financial advice. It found 71% of those surveyed felt Brexit had not impacted their financial planning, and two-in-five (41%) saw it as just another market cycle. Meanwhile, four-fifths (80%) have made provisions within their retirement in response to people living longer.
