New PFS president Lord to focus on apprenticeships and the next generation of advisers

The Personal Finance Society (PFS) has elected Succession Wealth chief client officer Sarah Lord as its next president, taking over from Adam Owen.

Lord (pictured) has almost 20 years' experience in the sector, having previously worked at Mazars and Kilik & Co, and is one of the highest qualified female financial planners in the UK. In 2016, she was elected to the board of the PFS and will serve as president for 2020/21. She will take over from NextGen Planners learning and curriculum director Adam Owen, who has been president for the last year.
