Succession hires ex-Sesame CEO as non-executive chairman

Wealth management and financial planning group Succession has appointed ex-Sesame CEO Patrick Gale as non-executive chairman.

The appointment follows the retirement of Ray Pierce, who has held the role of chairman of Succession since its formation in 2009. Gale took over the role on 1 September 2020. Gale will provide support and direction as Succession embarks on its next phase of growth. His role will involve working with investors and providing senior counsel. The new chairman has more than 30 years' experience in financial services, having previously been CEO of adviser firm Sesame, a role he held for seven years.
