Ex-Sanlam CEO appointed to run Horizon

The SimplyBiz Group has launched Horizon, a new acquisition and exit solution designed for its members and client firms.

The adviser support firm said Horizon builds upon previous exploratory work the group has undertaken with a number of advice firms over the last 12 months, and aims to provide "the most focused, client-centric adviser buy-out solution in the market". Ex-Sanlam Wealth Planning CEO Alex Morley has been appointed to lead the service. Morley said SimplyBiz would work with firms considering exiting the industry and those thinking about expanding their business through acquisition.
