Almost six in ten advisers open to simplified advice

Almost six in ten (59%) UK advisers have said they are likely to offer simplified advice to some clients, a recent Vanguard survey found.

Vanguard surveyed about 200 advisers across the UK as it looked to explore strategic priorities and operational challenges. The strength of support for simplified advice came as a surprise, according to Vanguard head of UK adviser solutions and sales Gillian Hepburn. "We expected advisers to be interested, but the level of openness was higher than anticipated," Hepburn said.
