Suffolk adviser acquires Norwich firm's employee benefits division

Suffolk-based adviser firm Beckett Financial Services has acquired the employee benefits division of NW Brown, basic in Norwich.

Eight staff from NW Brown, which was acquired by Brown Shipley in 2019, will join the Becketts employee benefits teams to provide advice to SMEs on areas such as workplace pension schemes, group risk, private medical insurance and flexible benefits. Andy Cousins, who heads up the employee benefits team at Beckett FS, saw the acquisition as a welcome step in supporting businesses in the region.
