Niche's Mighty Duck: Advice firm's administrator makes GB ice hockey team

Newport-based Niche IFA administrator Josh Batch has been chosen to be part of Great Britain’s team for the ice hockey Winter Olympic Qualifiers.

GB team head coach Pete Russell named his team for next month's Olympic three qualifiying matches on Wednesday (15 January). GB, Estonia, Hungary and Romania will battle it out for a place in August's qualifiers in Nottingham from 6-9 February. If the Brits win both rounds they will play at the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022. Batch (pictured), joined the Niche team as a paraplanner in 2019 and currently works as an administrator part-time while also professionally playing ice hockey for the Cardiff Devils.
