Prudential appoints new non-executive director

Prudential has appointed Jeremy Anderson as non-executive director and member of its risk and audit committees.

Anderson, a former KPMG chief executive, has advised international companies on audit and risk management for more than 30 years. He will start his new role on 1 January. Currently non-executive director of UBS Group AG and chairman of its audit committee, Anderson started his finance career in 1985 with KPMG. During his career he has been head of UK operations at IT company Atos Origin, head of financial services at KPMG and a non-executive director of the UK Commission for Employment and Skills.
