Schroders' Benchmark Capital names ex-FundsNetwork head as group MD

Schroders' affiliate Benchmark Capital has appointed former head of Fidelity's FundNetwork David White as group managing director. White will join the technology-led adviser support business in February 2020 and will work closely alongside CEO Ian Cooke to develop its future growth strategy. Benchmark Capital, which was purchased by Schroders in 2016 as part of the firm's UK retail push, consists of a technology company, an institutional funds platform, a network of financial advisers and a restricted advice business.
