Former England cricketer turned sports psychologist Jeremy Snape warned delegates at PA360 against micromanaging their team, instead suggesting they should be encouraging creative thinking among employees.

Speaking at Professional Adviser's flagship conference in London on Thursday (25 April), Snape told advisers that business owners should be encouraging teams to come up with creative solutions. "Don't just micromanage everything in your business, even though you want it 100% perfect," he said. "We have got to empower the talent in our teams to be creative, to come up with new solutions and to think differently, because that is how we are going to scale our impact."
