Appointment 'shows commitment to growth'

Financial advice network Openwork chief executive Mark Duckworth has been appointed to the board of the Personal Investment Management and Financial Advice Association (PIMFA).

Duckworth, who joined the board on 1 April, has served as Openwork CEO since 2015. Openwork said his appointment to the trade body underlined the firm's "commitment" to "substantially grow" its own network over the coming years. Duckworth said: "PIMFA is a standard bearer for our industry and its mission to enable firms to deliver the best service to clients echoes Openwork's own."
