SocGen resolves legal claim with platform tech provider FNZ

Societe Generale and FNZ have resolved a legal claim the investment bank brought against the fintech firm at the end of last month.

SocGen filed the claim in the Commcercial Court on 29 October against FNZ, which provides the underlying technology for a number of adviser platforms, including the Aviva, Embark, Old Mutual Wealth and Standard Life adviser platforms. It also provides technology to other financial groups, such as Barclays and HSBC. A spokesperson for SocGen said: "This relates to a claim within our global markets division and Societe Generale is pleased the claim has been settled."
