Newell Palmer acquires Coventry-based IFA adding £80m FUM

Newell Palmer has completed the acquisition of Coventry-based IFA, HIA International Financial Services, adding £80m in client assets to the firm's funds under management (FUM).

HIA International Financial Services is the advisory arm of the HIA International group, which was founded in 1996. The general insurance side of HIA International will continue operating as its own independent business and is not part of the deal with Newell Palmer. This latest acquisition takes Newell Palmer's FUM in excess of £2.1bn, which it said would be further boosted during 2018 upon the completion of further planned acquisitions.
