FSCS names at least five advice firms in default

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has named at least five advice firms as having gone into default in January and February of this year.

The five advice businesses were among 24 financial firms declared in default by the FSCS in the first two months of 2018 and whose customers could now be in line for compensation from the lifeboat fund. The advice firms declared in default by the FSCS were: Cardiff-based Castle Court Consulting Limited Dormant 2017 Limited (formerly Spectrum Financial Services Limited) from Battle, East Sussex The FG (IFA) Limited (Trading as PMI Independent Financial Advisers/The Financial Group) from Basildon, Essex The Ntrust Group Limited (formerly KBS Oakes Financial Planning Limited) in ...
