Wales-based Magenta Financial Planning managing director and chartered wealth manager Gretchen Betts has been appointed president of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Wales branch.

  Betts said she was "very proud" to have been appointed president of the CISI Wales branch, adding: "I am looking forward to building on the great work of outgoing president Meirion Davies and helping to grow the CISI membership in our region. "We have a good line-up for 2018 CPD events already and the committee is keen to try to establish a programme that suits all our members, financial planners, investment and portfolio managers and students.
