Today the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) celebrates its 25th anniversary by looking back at the mantra that helped it stand the test of time.

CISI was established on 10 February 1992. Since then the not-for-profit professional body has grown from 8,000 UK-centric members to today's community of 40,000 across 116 countries. In November 2015, CISI merged with financial planning body the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP), bringing together investment managers and lifetime planning-focused advisers under one roof. As a professional qualifications and standards-setting body CISI has 11 national advisory councils worldwide and oversaw 40,000 exams in 80 countries last year.
