Baroness Ros Altmann claims ex-work and pensions secretary Iain Duncan Smith was hard to work for and was "obstructive" on many pension policy reform ideas.

Duncan Smith, known as IDS, resigned as work and pensions secretary on Friday over the government's planned reforms to disability benefits. He has been replaced by 43-year-old former Welsh secretary Stephen Crabb. Pensions minister Altmann, who worked under him at the Department for Work and Pensions, said on Sunday he resigned over the upcoming EU referendum not welfare payments, the BBC reports.  She said she was "shocked" by his decision as her former boss had "championed the very package of reforms to disability benefits he now says is the reason he resigned".
