National advice firm launches service for sunset clause orphans

The offering is aimed at advisers' dormant clients

National advice firm and network pi financial has launched a service for advisers' clients who are no longer being actively served.

The Shrewsbury-based firm has approached its 102 advisers with an offer to sign their clients up to a simplistic advice service, which allows them to access ongoing advice for a flat fee of 0.87%. The service is aimed at clients generally deemed 'dormant' - those not in an active relationship with their adviser but whose products still pay the adviser a recurring income. It allows advisers to keep the clients on their books while 'outsourcing' the ongoing relationship for which they are paid 0.15% a year in return.   Investment management pi has teamed up with investment manag...
