Columbia Threadneedle launches adviser app

Columbia Threadneedle has launched a mobile and tablet app financial advisers can use to access the fund manager's products, based on what their clients may need in retirement.

'TriGlide' derived its name from what Columbia Threadneedle said are the three key elements that create a financial "glide path" during retirement; preservation of capital; income generation; inflation-beating returns. The tool nudges advisers and their clients to consider each element, before TriGlide suggests a model portfolio of three Threadneedle funds - Global Opportunities Bond; Global Multi Asset Income; Dynamic Real Return - that aim to deliver against the different financial outcomes.
