Three heavyweights join Financial Services Consumer Panel

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) consumer panel has appointed three new members, including a BBC journalist and former Treasury adviser, following the departures of Dan Plant and Frances Harrison at the end of December.

Liz Barclay, Caroline Barr and Doug Taylor and were appointed to the independent Financial Services Consumer Panel for a three year term from 1 January, during which they will be responsible for advising and challenging the FCA 'from the consumer perspective'. Barclay, a broadcast journalist and producer specialising in personal finance, consumer affairs and issues affecting small businesses, has worked for the BBC and the independent sector.
