Axa says Marlene Shalton client solicitation case 'settled'

Life company AXA has said that its complaint against former Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) president Marlene Shalton for client solicitation has been "settled".

In October, it emerged that Axa - which owns Bluefin Personal Consulting - had accused Shalton of urging clients to move with her to Guardian Wealth Management which she joined in in September 2012 after resigning from Bluefin last May. Axa is understood to have instructed lawyers to pursue its claim. However, in a statement, Axa said that the matter has now been "settled to the satisfaction of all concerned".
