AFH continues acquisition trail with take over of Shape Financial

Bromsgrove-based independent financial advice firm AFH has acquired Somerset-based IFA Shape Financial in what marks the fourteenth acquisition by the firm since its flotation.

The merger will add 16 new advisers, including the five shareholder directors of Shape Financial, to AFH's current total of 104 advisers. The new advisers will continue to operate out of Shape Financial's old office post-merger, providing access for AFH to business in the south-west of England. Shape has a turnover of £1.5m, according to AFH, and is fully authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
