Ross Ainslie to leave Royal London Group

Royal London has announced Ross Ainslie will step down as managing director of the Royal London protection businesses, Bright Grey and Scottish Provident

After 10 years, Ross will be leaving in August to start studying for an MSc degree in September. An internal successor will be appointed in the coming weeks. John Deane, chief executive of Royal London's intermediary division, said: "Of course we are sad to see Ross leave, but he goes with our best wishes and grateful thanks for helping to shape two very strong brands in the protection space.
