Daredevil adviser to scale mountain for charity

An adventure junkie financial adviser is looking to raise £2,500 for charity by running three marathons, cycling across the country and scaling a Russian mountain.

Keith Packwood, who works at Southport-based ADA Financial, is hoping to raise £2,500 for The Katie Piper Foundation by running the Barcelona, Edinburgh and Snowdonia marathons in addition to scaling 18,500ft Russian mountain Mt Elbrus.  Packwood began his year of gruelling physical challenges - the Aim High 4 Seasons Challenge - by running the Barcelona marathon in March and is now preparing for the Edinburgh marathon next month before heading out to Russia to climb Mt Elbrus, reports the Southport Visiter.
