Barclays signs L&G and Aviva for retail insurance products

The arrangement sees Legal & General providing family and mortgage life assurance and critical illness protection cover on an advised basis. This is in addition to L&G's current mortgage protection distribution arrangement the insurer has had with Barclays since 2001. Aviva will provide life assurance and personal accident products on a non-advised basis.
