Guns N' Roses rocker turns financial adviser

Former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan has launched a financial advice firm to serve his fellow rockers.

McKagan, the band's bass player from 1985 to 1993, was inspired to start his firm after he realised he had no idea how his own fortune was maintained, according to Sky News. The current Velvet Revolver band member earned around £15m from Guns N' Roses during their heyday and still makes a seven figure sum in royalties every year. After a burst appendix brought on by excessive drinking, McKagan decided to clear up his finances as well as his health, but found he had no understanding of basic investment.
