Axa PPP plans to extend online presence with broker buy

Axa PPP has confirmed its intention to purchase online private medical insurance intermediary Health-on-line for an undisclosed sum.

The deal is subject to approval from the Financial Services Authority. Axa PPP previously acted as the underwriter for Health-on-line. A spokesman for the second largest PMI provider said: "We have entered into an agreement to acquire Health-on-Line. The deal will strengthen our presence in the online health arena where Health-on-Line already enjoys considerable success." This artilce is taken from COVER's sister title Insurance Age.
