Cirencester friendly adds home nurse screening service

Cirencester friendly has introduced an at home nurse screening program for applicants where further medical evidence is required.

The service will be operated my Medicals Direct with its nurses able to carry out a range of tests including blood tests and mini screening examinations. The insurer said the arrangement means an applicant can schedule a visit at a time to suit them rather than have to fit around an often busy local surgery. It has also appointed Medicals Direct to carry out its GP admin, which it expects will speed up applications and help to get policies on the books quicker.
