Towry Law granted injunction against Edward Jones advisers

Towry Law has been granted an interim injunction against six former Edward Jones advisers accused of soliciting its clients.

The firm says it also preparing for other legal actions against former Edward Jones employees. Edward Jones Limited was wholly acquired by Towry Law in November last year, and its ex-advisers signed contracts stating they would not solicit relevant business from its clients. The High Court granted the injunction and a trial date has been set for the first available date after 14 July 2010.
