P. Diddy 'eyeing Crystal Palace bid'

Controversial American rapper P. Diddy is interested in buying a British football team and has set his sights on Championship outfit Crystal Palace.

The multi-millionaire hip hop star is keen to invest some of his £360m fortune in the south London club because he "liked the name", according to reports. Crystal Palace is currently facing bankruptcy and has had 10 league points deducted after going into administration. "Diddy was in London meeting football fixers a couple of weeks ago," a source told the Sun newspaper. "The finance is in place, he's just deciding who he thinks he'll make a bid for.
