Demand for specialist advice rising - Unbiased

Two-thirds of people searching for financial advice are now looking for particular products, says a report.

The latest Advice Drivers study from Unbiased.co.uk suggests more people are seeking financial advice because of difficult economic conditions, with 250,000 consumer requests for details of local IFAs in November. Unbiased's study also reveals specialist product advice is the most important selection criteria when choosing an IFA, with two-thirds (66%) searching for advice on particular products - compared with 60% last November. The most sought-after areas are personal retirement planning and investments, suggesting consumers are looking to get a grip on their savings following a turb...
