Small advice firms feature prominently in buyer criteria on Melo’s online M&A platform, with interest coming from local and regional buyers as well as national acquirers.
Project Exit was launched by Melo on 11 May this year. Since launch, the first two advice firm sellers have now gone live, and Melo said that both opportunities received buyer match requests within hours of being listed. The sellers are both sole advisers, with one bringing a client bank to market and the other selling a directly authorised advice firm. A further 20 sellers are working with the Melo team to prepare their profiles for future launch on the platform.
