Standards Intl seeks Kitemark symbol for ISO 22222

Standards International is in discussions with the British Standards Institute (BSI) to be able to offer advisers the world-renowned Kitemark alongside the ISO 22222 in personal financial planning.

The certification body, which has been accredited to certify ISO 22222, says the Kitemark will provide consumers with extra assurances they are dealing with a competent firm. It is currently in discussions with BSI, which is responsible for awarding the Kitemark symbol, but stresses negotiations are at an early stage. BSI only recently introduced the Kitemark, which it describes as the "world's premier symbol of trust, integrity and quality", to the services industry and will decide whether Standards International should be granted certification rights.
