AIFA unveils RDR prep tool

The first phase of a free tool designed to help thousands of adviser firms meet recommendations in the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) has been launched.

Developed in association with Skandia, the newly-available part of the online business academy, available here, poses a series of questions to AIFA members, on subjects ranging from business strategy to segmentation, before generating a detailed ‘action plan'. AIFA says the tool will help businesses assess their current status and map the activity needed to become an RDR-ready organisation. Full roll-out of the academy, which will provide a wider range of modules to assist IFAs, is expected in September.
