Vice president of the Personal Finance Society (PFS), Paul Lothian, has been elected as president after being voted in by the Board.
Lothian is set to be officially confirmed in the role at the PFS annual general meeting on 11 November and will replace Robert Reid. “The PFS has a pivotal role to play in influencing the reshaping of the financial services landscape [and] 2009 promises to be a challenging year for many advisers but one which will also provide many opportunities for the financial advice sector,” Lothian says.
