Webline to add annuities, Teps, general insurance

Webline plans to launch quotations for annuities, traded endowment policies and general insurance such as ASU and household by early January next year.

Paul Holland, managing director, has today confirmed the change, while also announcing the latest clients to sign up to Webline’s services are Charcol, Mortgage 2000, and Positive Solutions. Holland would not comment on speculation Norwich Union may adopt Webline solutions. The deal with Charcol involves white-labelling, whereby the Webline engine is offered to advisers on an own brand basis, while allowing a consumer interface that allows and enquiry and result form taking on their own brand.
