IFA comments question reason for commission investigation

A flurry of emails has arrived in the IFAonline inbox in response to the ABI's report into commission bias, and the double standard shown by one major life company.

Here are a handful of those responses, but If you have any comments you would like to add to this or any other story, either email the editor or post your thoughts on the IFAonline discussion board. Phillip Masters, IFA in Finchley, points out very few IFAs are likely to be able to get away with commission bias, contrary to ABI and FSA suggestions, as consumers are smart enough to spot it. As a directly regulated IFA, I am sure that I write for all small IFAs in saying that clients soon know if you are commission biased instead of presenting the right product, and having been in business...
