Another Skandia link to Fidelity appointments

Simon Burgess, formerly group sales director at Skandia is joining Fidelity FundsNetwork to become its head of sales as the platform provider looks to develop its offering to the market.

Burgess is not the first appointment announced with a strong Skandia link – he spent 15 years with the Skandia Group – or indeed of someone with links to Scottish Widows, where he worked prior to Skandia. Nic Burton, recently appointed head of insured propositions worked previously at Scottish Widows, and before that as marketing manager for Royal Skandia, the offshore business.
