Ambrose McGinn is leaving his job as director of Abbey for Intermediaries after 16 years with the group.
The change means AfI will report to Tim Murley, managing director Intermediary and Specialist Banking. Murley already manages Abbey's private banking business Cater Allen, commercial mortgages, Abbey International, and small business banking. He is quoted by Abbey as stating support for the intermediary channel: "This year, intermediaries will see we are really serious about improving further the service we give them, and the range of packages we offer."
