In a board update shared last Friday (8 August), PFS chair and president Carla Brown laid out seven areas “for which we want the PFS to be recognised in future, as identified at a recent strategy day.
"Global ambition, with an intent to explore international relevance," was listed among these. Further, Brown set out that the PFS hopes "to be able to say more" about the creation of a new role to externally represent the body, with an update expected at its AGM in September. The pledge comes as the PFS has been without a CEO since interim CEO Don MacIntyre stepped down last November, days before the body's AGM.
