Financial industry remains ‘largely outdated’

Advice firm Almond Financial has recently adopted a four-day working week and has urged the industry to do the same.

Last month, the Lincoln-based firm said it is "leading industry innovation" with the introduction of a four-day working week, as the finance sector "grapples with a shrinking talent pool". Almond Financial principal financial adviser Sam Robinson told PA that the firm "firmly" believes in maintaining a solid work/life balance. "Since the pandemic, a new way of working has emerged, and this flexibility has made working more enjoyable," he said.
