Suffolk-based Kingsfleet Wealth won a 2021 Gold Standard Award in the Small IFA category. Here founder Colin Low talks to Cherry Reynard about his advice firm's philosophy and ambitions for the future

When it launched in 2010, the name "Kingsfleet" had a particular resonance for founder Colin Low (pictured). First and foremost, it was the name of his Suffolk primary school and underscored the company's focus on education - for its clients, for the wider Suffolk community and for its charitable aims. It is also a name of a tributary of the River Deben, where Edward III fitted out his fleet for his expedition to Flanders in 1338.
