Investors looking for ways to increase their income are having a tough time in the current climate. Dividends have been hit across a number of sectors as companies struggle to rebuild after the financial crisis. Income giant BP also recently announced it would suspend its dividend at least until next year, which was a further blow to income investors. However, funds that are less reliant on traditional forms of income generation may be the answer.
