Lowes recently beat IA in structured product challenge

The structured product arm of Investec has teamed up with Lowes Financial Management - which recently won a challenge against the IA centred on the sector - to launch an eight-year product.

The ‘8:8 Plan' is a structured product with an eight-year maximum term investment, aiming to offer a potential 3.75% return for every six months held (7.5% per annum) from the second anniversary. This is provided the FTSE 100 Index is no more than 8% down from the initial level, as recorded on 8 March 2018 - hence, the name ‘8:8 Plan'. The plan is designed to mature on one of 13 anniversaries from the second year onwards.
