As the Artemis II crew were circling the moon, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) was itself involved in a launch event this week.

Targeted support has lift off, though it wasn't a particularly thunderous introduction.  That's not entirely unexpected.  We were always likely to see targeted support get off to a slow start, commentators noted this week. That's borne through, with just two firms – Royal London and Quilter – holding targeted support permissions as of Tuesday this week, one day after the framework's 6 April start.  As discussed on Professional Adviser TV, it could be some time before mid-sized advice firms jump on board.  With the regulator estimating that 96 businesses will eventually get invol...
