It is easier to get divorced now. In April 2022, the Divorce Dissolution and Separation Act 2020 enacted "no-fault" divorce for all. So, if one party signs the divorce application form to say that the marriage has "irretrievably broken down", that is enough proof. Applications are now made online, so a client can apply for a divorce by pressing "submit" on their government form at any time of day or night.
