Data on the gender split within financial advice taken from Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) records revealed that the headcount for female advisers has increased by 2% since 2022. Whilst the current figure of 18% of the advisory population represents a positive move from single to double figures in the past decade, many of us would have liked to have seen a quicker pace of change. The theme for this year's International Women's Day, Accelerate Action, could, therefore, not feel more apt.
